The API Department endpoint returns details about the department that has the given department ID. See the API Reference page for an example response.
- GET to read department related data such as department groups, time zones, workers comp codes and budgeted hours.
- PUT to update specific fields relating to departments. (Coming Soon)
- POST to add a new department (Coming Soon)
Note that sensitive data on the employee record – SSN, bank account, etc. – cannot be accessed through the API.
