The API EIP endpoint accepts employee demographic data uploads for a given company. It is the one write path available in the API today. See the API Reference page for an example response.
- POST to submit an employee data upload file for a company.
- companyCode is required.
- fileFormat is optional (e.g., DailyPay).
This is a distinct path from the standalone APS Enterprise Integration Platform offering described on the Enterprise Integration Platform page, which transmits XML files over SFTP with its own security token. The API EIP endpoint instead lets you post an upload file directly using your API token, alongside your other API calls.
Note that sensitive data on the employee record – SSN, bank account, etc. – cannot be accessed through the API.
